  We are very satisfied with our new fence. Each step of the service was polite, professional and completed in a timely manner. The first step was online with an approximate quote and this was followed by a phone call, an estimater did a site visit and, once we accepted the quote, our fence was installed by a very competent chap within a week. We couldn't be happier with the result.

  Purchased a picket gate from Dave online. Agreed to price and told to pick up weekdays. My carpenter purchased the rest of the fencing material to suit the gates measurements. On my way to pick up the gate, and Dave told me he sold it to someone else.
  
  Very inconvenient, disrespectful, inefficient service
  and wasteful of people’s time, money and petrol. Especially given how much petrol cost’s currently and the state of our environment. Not a very environmentally friendly ethos Dave. No stars and company definitely not recommend if this is the way they roll.
  
  UPDATE: In response to your response and counter attack by leaving a 'false review' on my business.
  
  1. I confirmed that I would pick up this item. You made no effort to contact me to advise you had another buyer. The attempted pick up time was within 5 business days and not the 8 days you suggest because you are not open on weekends. You did not request I pay for this item prior to pickup. Otherwise, I would have for sure. I can predict that the other buyer offered you a better price for this item and you are too busy to care about people and agreements made. We all have busy lives. It appears you are just trying to justify reasons for your adverse actions Dave.
  
  2. Tracking me down via Google and leaving a 'false review' on my own professional business site in order to counter attack my honest review of your business is not only low, shows revengeful tactics but further shows your unprofessionalism Dave.
  
  Prior to our interactions, I planned to install some new fencing at our property and considered Aussie Fencing to do the job. I would not even entertain this now. Be wary of this business, their ethics, morals and business model. Not recommended. No Stars.

  Massive thank you to the team at Aussie Fencing who managed to sort out a new gate and have it installed for me within a day of notice. The team was very helpful and professional, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

  Aussie weren’t the cheapest, but they had great reviews, so I had them out to install around 20m of Colorbond fencing and 2 x gates in May 2023. Initially communication was great, and they came out a couple of times to accommodate a fussy neighbour.
  
  I have a full review on Product Review of my experience, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend. Gate was installed with huge gaps (you could see the entire courtyard if you looked around through the gap on the latch side - so not ideal for privacy) and the customer service was shonky in the end.
  
  The rep I was mostly dealing with, Peter, kept talking to me as if he was doing me a favour by coming back to correct shoddy work and became evasive / argumentative when I flagged another issue after he attended to move the posts. Initially there was cement set at a 20cm diameter around the post, after moving it, there was a 70cm diameter slab which I wasn't aware of and which prevented me from installing pavers as it was set a couple of centimetres from ground height.
  
  Contractors are happy to hike their prices through the roof and take your money, then after that the care factor is gone. A lot of fencing contractors are fairly similar in price atm, and prices are a lot higher compared to 18 months ago, so if you have to pay it you may as well go somewhere you know you'll get good service. Unfortunately Aussie isn't that place in my experience.

  I called up to see if they could help me with a custom fence for my place. I explained what I wanted to the sales rep and she said unfortunately they don't have anything that would match, but good luck.
  
  After trying a few other places, eventually I reached out to a friend who I remembered sold fences and it turns out she works at the same company. Alyssa took time to time to hear my ideas and presented me with a few great options that matched my specific needs and I ended up getting a very fairly priced quote.
  
  I appreciate the effort she put in and I'll definitely be recommending her to family and friends.
